The delicate balance between good and evil is in danger of upset as two of the world's most dangerous men prepare to join forces. The place is Taos, New Mexico. The time is Holy Week. One of the men is a fanatical cult leader who has used an ancient treasure to secretly gain influence within the Church of Rome. The other is THE ONE, a mysterious figure whose existence is known only to a handful of the world's most powerful political and underworld leaders... all of whom have become subject to him. In an effort to gain advantage over the other, each of these megalomaniacs attempts to manipulate the services of a legendary assassin, not coincidently known as The One.
